"When my wife and I began looking for our first home to start our life together in, we started by looking through countless websites and going on random drives throughout the Madison area. Finally when we realized we were getting nowhere, I called an out of town friend who is a Realtor and asked "how do we find a Realtor?". She said, "just get the best one in town, in fact I'll do the research and get back to you". Within the week we were in touch with Pat Mullin.
We didn't know what to expect when we started looking for a home but Pat made things simple,fun and non-threatening. We had hundreds of questions in person,by phone and through e-mail all of which Pat was always very quick to answer and if he didn't know the answer, he found someone who did. Throughout our experience Pat utilized his 20+ years of connections in the Madison area, all of which we too are now suggesting to our friends just starting to purchase their first homes as well.
When you work with Pat you feel like you are working with family. While walking through each house he gave us his thoughts from a "Dad's perspective" pointing out possible structural problems i.e. water damaged basements and other big ticket replacement items which we would have otherwise overlooked. Finally, throughout our purchasing process, Pat never once tried to sell us a home outside of our price range nor did he ever push us to put a bid on a home we weren't comfortable purchasing.
And so it was,after casually looking off and on for a few months we stumbled on the home of our dreams, it was everything we had asked Pat to help us find: the location,size and price were perfect. Throughout the bidding and buying process Pat's experience was invaluable!
Of course we were nervous,we were making the biggest purchase of our life, but Pat continually calmed our nerves throughout the process by explaining and re-explaining the answers to our countless questions and in the end everything went through beautifully.
